They put 101 total lineups into this contest, of which 41 cashed and five finished in the top 100. Now, that is a very strong result, and despite splitting the top prize, they had a 945.6% total lineup ROI compared to their first-place comrade’s 604.7%. This Packers-Lions game was a shootout, so you had to be pretty particular about this individual pieces beyond just the quarterbacks. The easiest way to both differentiation and paying off big time was with Tim Patrick at Captain. Patrick had not scored a touchdown all year, so Captaining him was an absolute swing for the fences. Two touchdown later at 0.6% Captain ownership, and we have an easy route to a first-place Showdown lineup.
After going so off the wall with the Captain, honestly, who even cares about ownership with the Flex positions? The Sims gave bmac5888 chalk down the board from there to the tune of first, second, third, seventh and 10th in terms of Flex ownership. Not one of those players was less than 25% owned in the Flex.
