Two of the AFC’s best meet on Monday night, with the 7-4 Ravens currently listed as 2.5-point road favorites against the 7-3 Chargers. Both teams are obviously well coached by their respective Harbaugh, and both Lamar Jackson and Justin Herbert are playing some of the best football of their careers.
Truth be told, anytime Jackson is on a Showdown slate, ownership is rightfully going to gravitate to the reigning NFL MVP. Jackson has arguably been the best quarterback in football this season, and his 26.3 DraftKings points per game are the most of any player in the league. Jackson is currently projected to be rostered as a Captain in 25.0% of lineups, and don’t be surprised if that number grows as the day goes on. As a result of Jackson and, to a lesser extent, Derrick Henry and Justin Herbert garnering so much Captain ownership, pretty much every other player on the slate is going to come in somewhat contrarian.
Will Dissly isn’t getting nearly the love he deserves as a Captain on DraftKings. He is averaging 7.8 DraftKings points per game, and he’s been a steady target for Herbert with fellow tight end Hayden Hurst injured. Despite his relatively consistent production, Dissly is only projected to be 4.6% owned as a Captain on Monday night. Considering Dissly is showing up as a Captain in 7.0% of the top 300 lineups sorted by ROI in Stokastic’s Sims, he’s coming in under owned.

In a revenge game of sorts for the former Raven, Edwards is falling through the cracks in a big way on DraftKings despite his cheap $2,800 price tag.
Looking at Edwards’ box score doesn’t offer much excitement, and after missing Week’s 5 through 9 with an ankle injury, Edwards has tallied only 16 carries for 82 yards over the past two weeks. All that being said, Edwards is going to be an integral part of the Chargers offense, and his price tag is likely the cheapest he will be all season.
Edwards stands out as the top leverage play on the slate, appearing in 24.0% of top-300 lineups as a Flex while being projected at just 9.5% ownership. This significant gap between his upside and popularity creates a prime opportunity to gain an edge on the field.
