Elite Quarterback Tier
Baker Mayfield ($7,000)
Mayfield is the guy at the top this week. He’s coming off a monster game, and the Buccaneers have one of the clearest missions of any team on the slate. They know what they need to do, and they’ll be ready to play. Mayfield is going to be extremely popular, and for good reason. While you could argue for Jayden Daniels if you believe he will play the whole game, Mayfield is the safest top-tier option.
Jayden Daniels ($7,800)
Daniels is an intriguing pivot if you think Dan Quinn will decide to go all in with his starters against the Cowboys. Kenny Pickett and Tanner McKee carved up this Dallas defense last week, so the matchup is there for Daniels to take advantage. If the news breaks in his favor, Daniels is definitely viable as a contrarian option at the top.
Middle Quarterback Tier
Bo Nix ($6,400)
Nix feels like the chalk in the mid-tier, and it’s easy to see why. Like Mayfield, Nix is in a must-win situation, which makes his playing time far more certain than most quarterbacks in this range. People tend to gravitate toward the known commodities, and Nix fits the bill perfectly. He’s a strong option in this salary range.
Kyler Murray ($6,000)
Murray is a tournament option worth considering. He threw the ball 48 times last week and still managed over 20 fantasy points despite recording just one touchdown. There’s massive upside here, but the floor is low if Arizona’s offense struggles again. Murray is definitely in play, but I prefer the safety of Nix in this tier.

Value Quarterback Tier
Drew Lock ($5,100)
If the Eagles sit their starters, Lock could be one of the best value options on the slate. He flashed some upside last week, and with Malik Nabers and Wan’Dale Robinson at his disposal, there’s a real ceiling and some stack potential here. Lock is auditioning for his next NFL job, which gives him plenty of motivation to perform. At his salary, he’s a great way to save money while maintaining upside.
Josh Dobbs ($4,000)
Dobbs is a wait-and-see option, but he’s worth monitoring. If the 49ers play their starters, Dobbs looks solid, especially given his price. However, if he’s stuck with second-string pass-catchers like Jacob Cowing and Chris Conley, his appeal will drop significantly. Pay attention to San Francisco’s plans heading into Sunday. If things tilt Dobbs’ way, he will be a strong tournament play.
Bryce Young ($5,800)
Young has shown flashes of upside in recent weeks, and Carolina will likely let him air it out to try to play spoiler against the Falcons. Young is playable in tournaments if you’re looking to take a shot in the low range.
