Team Serbia has the reigning NBA MVP on its side, but that didn’t matter when it took on Team USA in a pre-Olympics exhibition game on July 17. The Americans rolled to a 26-point win that saw Nikola Jokic go a paltry 6-for-19 from the field for 16 points — though he did have 11 rebounds. The US is bringing super-duper stars like Anthony Edwards and Anthony Davis off the bench, so Jokic may have his hands full with that loaded squad when Serbia takes on Team USA in real Olympic basketball action on July 28.
This is THE marquee matchup of the early stages of the Olympics, with arguably the best player in the world taking on the heavy favorites.
