UFC DFS Picks – Fight Night DFS Plays
Joe Pyfer
Joe Pyfer, riding the wave of a five-fight winning streak, steps into Saturday’s UFC main event as a formidable contender. His last victory was a decisive one in October against Abdul Razak Alhassan. Up next is Jack Hermansson, whose performance has been inconsistent, with a mix of wins and losses in his last eight fights. His last appearance ended in a knockout by Roman Dolidze, last week’s main event loser.
According to our Top Fighters Tool, Pyfer dominates in projected ownership, and boasts the best odds for an inside-the-distance win. It’s hard to overlook Pyfer. His powerful knockout ability is a game-changer, and betting odds suggest a submission win is more likely for Pyfer than Hermansson.
I see this fight as another stepping stone for Pyfer’s rising career, and that’s why he’s a staple in my core.
Robert Bryczek
Robert Bryczek is set to make his UFC debut against the underperforming Igor Potieria. Having lost three of his last four fights, Potieria’s only victory came against Shogun Rua in January 2023.
Bryczek, with his $8800 salary, is garnering substantial attention, and rightfully so. Neither fighter poses a significant threat on the ground, so it’s likely to be a stand-up bout. According to betting markets, this fight is expected to conclude in the first round. If that’s the case, spectators can expect an impressive score. With his price tag, Bryczek smoothly fits into most lineup constructions.
This could be the perfect start to his UFC career.
Bogdan Guskov
If you’re looking for an underdog with a good chance of winning, consider choosing Bogdan Guskov, priced at $7800. Despite not winning his UFC debut against Volkan Oezdimir, he has nothing to be ashamed of. His opponent, Zac Pauga, only has a 1-2 record from his last three fights. He lost his last match against Modestas Bukauskas, but some see it differently, suggesting he could be on a two-fight winning streak.
Guskov has a strong finishing record, with 12 out of his 14 wins coming via KO/TKO. The real draw to choosing Guskov is his projected ownership. If it remains around the currently projected 14%, it’s a great value for the price. Given his nearly 40% chance of ending the fight early, Guskov could be the standout player in my lineup.
