Top Week 6 NFL DFS Stacks Based on Simulated ROI: Falcons Turning It On

Last week was a bit of a rough one for highly projecting stacks — save for the Bengals, who absolutely cooked. But ROI is a long-term game, and long-term the NFL DFS Sims are producing winners. For Week 6, we are turning to them again to see how to build NFL DFS stacks, and we will use Stokastic’s NFL DFS projections and ownership for the best Week 6 NFL DFS stacks on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Top Week 6 DraftKings NFL DFS Stack: Dallas Cowboys

The No. 1 quarterback from an ROI perspective in this run of Sims is rookie Spencer Rattler making his NFL debut, but that is due in large part to his tiny $4,000 salary. Stacking-wise, the Sims are not in love with his non-running back receivers, as only Rashid Shaheed is appearing in more than 1% of top-300 lineups. Rattler himself is only in 6.7%, so we’re going a different direction.

Instead we’re turning to the Dallas Cowboys, who don’t offer as much flexibility as other top stacks, but they have one guy in particularly who is the value of values this week:

That is a whopping 73.7% top-300 exposure for tight end Jake Ferguson, and despite the 34.3% he is getting in our NFL DFS ownership projections, Ferguson is still providing more leverage than any other main-slate player. He is also the No. 2 tight end when it comes to simulated ROI, trailing only Ja’Tavion Sanders, who is half Ferguson’s salary and projects for 45% of Ferguson’s fantasy points.

So Ferguson is a lock-in play regardless of how you stack. As for filling out the rest of your Cowboys groupings, there are a couple ways you can go.

First and foremost, Dak Prescott appears in 14.3% of top-300 lineups, second behind Jalen Hurts. However, Prescott double-stacks are the most often-appearing stack of three players or more (9.3%) — in fact, no other double- or triple-stack is used in more than 6% of top-300 lineups. Hurts exposure is mostly coming via stacks with only one other pass catcher (9.7%). When you build out to two or more, it’s Prescott leading the charge.

It goes without saying that CeeDee Lamb is the most popular choice for rolling with the double-stack alongside Prescott and Ferguson. His total exposure of 12.0% is sixth among all wide receivers, and though he is A) slightly negatively leveraged, and B) the most expensive receiver on the slate, it’s going to be hard to build a high-upside Cowboys stack without its best player.

This threesome is where most of the Prescott lineups go, but there are a few top-300 lineups (2.0%) that throw in a third Dallas pass catcher. Jalen Tolbert is usually the guy here at 4.3% exposure, and Rico Dowdle poked his head in once as well. Both are negatively leveraged, but there could be some merit to a full Cowboys run in the occasional DraftKings lineup.

Top Week 6 FanDuel NFL DFS Stack: Atlanta Falcons

For the record, Cowboys stacks simulate the best on FanDuel as well. But for the sake of providing another option, the Falcons give you some flexibility and also have a strong, easy route to a double-stack:

Do note that the most top-300 exposure of a Falcon goes to the defense. That is the No. 1 defense on the board, for your information.

But also note that three different pass catchers appear in at least 11% of top-300 lineups, and Kirk Cousins is the No. 5 quarterback at 7.3% — trailing Prescott and three running quarterbacks.

In terms of stack exposures, Hurts and the Eagles are again the go-to for quarterback-plus-one plays. Cousins with just one pass catcher is actually almost non-existent (0.3% of top-300 lineups). However, he is second to only Prescott for double-stacks (5.7%) and third behind Prescott and Jordan Love for triple-stacks (1.3%). Again, these aren’t massive exposures, but if leaning hard into a team other than Dallas, Atlanta gives you options.

The main one is Drake London, who is basically a must if you are trying to capitalize on some Falcons upside. After all, London just caught 12 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown and is starting to settle in as Cousins’ favorite target. There is some risk since you need London to boom to make this worth it — he is simulating at -10.1% ROI and is projecting for 20.4% ownership.

The less risky option basically across the board is Ray-Ray McCloud, who has been one of the Sims‘ favorite receivers since our Week 6 projections came out. McCloud trails London in top-300 exposure (13.0%), but he is the No. 3 receiver on the slate for ROI and is also offering 6.6% leverage since he is only projecting for around 6% ownership.

How to Use NFL DFS Sims: Expert Strategy Guide, Tips & Advice

Not to mention, Atlanta gets the Panthers, whom the Bears just carved up last week.

Bijan Robinson rounds out most triple-stacks, appearing in 11.0% of top-300 lineups, but here too you have to deal with some ownership and a high salary that indicates he needs to go off. This is the matchup to do it, though. If you want a little salary relief, Darnell Mooney is also in a handful of these top-300 lineups (4.0%) and isn’t projecting for too much ownership.
