Coming off a less-than-inspiring Thursday Night Football game, the NFL has got us covered, with another 10-game main slate on DraftKings this Sunday with some great contests in the lobby. In this space, we’ll walk through the top NFL DFS Picks for Week 7. This slate is an interesting one, and we’re going back to the drawing board to tackle it. Let’s discuss how to best do that on this jam-packed Week 7 NFL DFS slate.

NFL DFS Picks for Week 7: Back to the Drawing Board
In 2024, if you’re just using NFL DFS projections to make your picks, you’re losing out on more than half the game. DFS is a peer-to-peer game, and what constitutes a good lineup often comes down to what the field is doing.
Our NFL DFS ownership projections are part of the solution, but to get the most out of them, you need our NFL Core Package to access our NFL DFS Sims, which allow you to see the best lineups over thousands of simulated versions of the slate.

NFL DFS Picks for Week 7: Quarterbacks
Cash: Jayden Daniels (WAS): $7,600
We’ve read this book before with Jayden Daniels. Matched up against one of the softest defenses in the entire NFL, there is simply no getting away from him in cash games. Daniels comes into Week 7 averaging 22.7 DraftKings points per game, putting him right behind Jordan Love as the most productive quarterback on the slate.
Washington’s offense as a whole has been one of the league’s best, and the Commanders enter Week 7 with far and away the highest implied team total of the Week. (30.5, 3.5 more than the next-closest team). Considering how many lineups are projected to roster Daniels this week, there’s no reason to get away from him in cash games.
As of this writing, Daniels is projected to be by far the highest-owned quarterback on the slate as he is projected to be in 20% of lineups on DraftKings on Sunday. Though I think there are plenty of reasons to consider getting off of Daniels in tournaments, he is the first player to lock into cash game lineups.
GPP: Andy Dalton (CAR): $5,200
With Daniels picking up so much ownership, it makes sense that there are a bunch of quarterbacks falling through the cracks on DraftKings. While I also like Kirk Cousins and Tyler Huntley as potential GPP-winning signal callers, Andy Dalton is my favorite tournament quarterback on the slate.
Since taking over for Bryce Young, Dalton has made the Carolina offense look, well, professional, and if you take out his stinker against the Bears in Week 5, he is averaging 20.4 DraftKings points per game. While we can’t completely disregard that Bears game, Dalton finds himself in a much better spot on Sunday against Jayden Daniels and the Commanders.
Stokastic’s NFL DFS Boom/Bust Tool currently has Dalton listed as optimal 6.32% of the time this slate plays out on DraftKings. With 7.2% of lineups expected to roster him, he comes out looking like a pretty neutral play in the Tools. When considering the ownership that backfield mate Chubba Hubbard is getting, however, Dalton begins to look like an even better play.
Stokastic’s NFL DFS Sims like him much more than the Tools, as Dalton is coming in in 14.3% of the lineups I simulated, behind only the aforementioned Cousins and Daniels. While Dalton’s floor will always be pretty low playing in this Panthers offense, he is way too cheap for his upside, and the field is sleeping on him in a big way on DraftKings.
Other quarterbacks to consider for NFL DFS GPPs: Josh Allen, Kirk Cousins, Geno Smith, Tyler Huntley
NFL DFS Picks for Week 7: Running Backs
Cash: Chuba Hubbard (CAR): $6,500
Going right back to the Commanders-Panthers game, the Chuba Hubbard looks like an easy plug-and-play option for cash games. Since Dalton took over at quarterback, Hubbard is averaging 22.45 DraftKings points per game, and he is on the field as much as any running back in the league. Hubbard had a spectacular 82.3% snap share in Week 6, and he’s one of the top value plays on the slate at $6,500.
As of this writing, Hubbard is projected to be optimal 19.96% of the time this slate plays out on DraftKings, per our NFL DFS Sims. Though he is projected to be over-owned with 27.2% of lineups expected to roster him, that number should be closer 100% in cash games.
While he’s not quite the lock that Bucky Irving was last week, if you’re not playing Hubbard in cash games this week, you’re probably doing it wrong.
GPP: Aaron Jones (MIN): $6,500
Full disclosure: Aaron Jones is truly questionable with a hamstring injury. After limited practices on both Thursday and Friday, however, I assume that he is playing.
In his four fully healthy games this season, Jones is averaging 19.1 DraftKings points per game. Jones’ 18% target share in those games ranks behind only Alvin Kamara, and it makes sense why he’s projected to be one of the highest owned running backs on the slate. Though he’s getting a good amount of love, both Stokastic’s Tools and my Stokastic Sims run have him coming in with a good amount of leverage on DraftKings.
As of this writing, Jones is projected to be optimal 26.40% of the time this slate plays out on DraftKings. With 23.6% of lineups currently expected to roster him, it makes sense why Jones looks so good from a leverage perspective. Stokastic’s Pre-Contest Simulator only solidifies these thoughts, as Jones is showing up in a whopping 55.3% of my top 300 lineups. Jones is by far my highest owned player in Stokastic’s Sims, and he is the top tournament running back on DraftKings.
Other running backs to consider for NFL DFS Cash Games & GPPs: Kyren Williams, Kenneth Walker III, Joe Mixon, Bijan Robinson, Tony Pollard, Kareem Hunt, Alexander Mattison, Trey Sermon
NFL DFS Picks for Week 7: Wide Receivers
Cash & GPP: Drake London (ATL): $6,900
London was a cash game lock last week, and as a wise man once said, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Coming off a rock-solid 19.4 DraftKings point outing in Week 6 against the Panthers, London is still too cheap at $6,900.
He is not only the top wideout in cash games this week, but he claims that crown in GPPs, too. London comes into Week 7 averaging 18 DraftKings points per game on the season, and going from Desmond Ridder to Kirk Cousins under center for the Falcons has turned him into one of the best wide receivers in all of fantasy football.
Much like Aaron Jones, London is expected to be popular on DraftKings — but not quite popular enough. As of this writing, London is projected to be optimal 23.12% of the time this slate plays out. With 24.9% of lineups expected to roster him, London (like Jones) looks pretty neutral in Stokastic’s Tools. Stokastic’s Sims, however, can’t get enough of London as he’s showing up in 46.7% of my top 300 lineups.
Other wide receivers to consider for NFL Cash Games: Justin Jefferson, Malik Nabers, Terry McLaurin, Diontae Johnson, Tee Higgins, JuJu Smith-Schuster
Other wide receivers to consider for NFL DFS GPPs: Ja’Marr Chase, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Tyreek Hill, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Darnell Mooney, Jaylen Waddle, Ray-Ray McCloud III, Jalen Coker
NFL DFS Picks for Week 7: Tight Ends
Cash: David Njoku (CLE): $4,100
Though the tight ends as a whole have been down this season, it seems as if the position is starting to pick up some steam as the NFL heads into the middle portion of its year. Amongst those players who have started out the 2024 campaign slowly is David Njoku. The Cleveland tight end has seen his price fall all the way down to $4,100 on DraftKings. Hampered with knee and ankle injuries that he missed three games with, Njoku is just starting to look like his normal self as Week 7 approaches.
With former Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper now catching passes from Josh Allen in Buffalo, Njoku should undoubtedly be quarterback Deshaun Watson’s favorite target on a Cleveland team lacking a ton of playmakers. Even with Cooper in the picture last week, Njoku led the Browns with a 30.4% target share, and in just seven full quarters of work this season, Njoku has 13 targets and 9 catches for 60 yards.
Despite it being Watson who has to throw him the football, Njoku has one of the best floor-and-ceiling combinations of any player on the slate, and at $4,100, he is a cog in our cash game machine.
