Tonight the Spurs are 9.5-point home favorites against the Washington Wizards, who are on the fourth stop on a five-game road trip, having dropped their last five games.
Washington has the third-worst defensive efficiency rating while playing at the fourth-fastest pace. Enjoy!
After a semi-slow start, Victor Wembanyama has dominated the last two games, with 29.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.5 steals and 5.0 blocks in 33.4 minutes per game. The French phenom has also splashed 12 of his last 21 (57.1%) of his 3-point attempts, which is just ridiculous. Over the last three games, interim coach Mitch Johnson, a long-time assistant under Gregg Popovich, has let Wembanyama average 33 minutes per game.
Julian Champagnie stands out on FanDuel ($4,500), while it is young Steven Castle getting the honors on DraftKings ($4,700). Keep in mind that Jeremy Sochan and Tre Jones are out, so Chris Paul is heading up the offense. The veteran has seen his salary climb to $6,500 on DraftKings, which is a tricky number to create upside, though his $5,900 on FanDuel is quite appealing.
Jordan Poole, Bilal Coulibaly and Kyle Kuzma are potential options from Washington, but they are more appealing on the evening sub-slate than in the featured tournaments.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is again in play, having helped propel the Bucks to their third win of the season last night in Milwaukee, downing the Toronto Raptors. Tonight is a great matchup against Detroit, but since Antetokounmpo was featured yesterday, it makes sense to give Wemby the nod today.
Damian Lillard (concussion) is doubtful, so that leaves a lot of minutes up for grabs. We need to pay attention to the status of Ryan Rollins, who had the spot start last night, but he left in the third quarter with a shoulder issue. There will be ample value options from Milwaukee, so monitor this situation.

Kevin Durant is out, and Bradley Beal (knee/calf) is a delicate flower that wilts in key situations; he is questionable tonight, as is Jusuf Nurkic, who missed the second half of Sunday’s game against Sacramento and last night’s tilt with a sore ankle. Beal hopes to play, and Nurkic is a game-time decision.
Devin Booker was strong last night with 31 points on 11 of 20 from the field, including 5-for-9 from beyond the arc. Beal chipped in 24, Grayson Allen added 15 off the bench and Mason Plumlee equaled that in a spot start. If Nurkic remains out, Plumlee is a tremendous option, though he will be far more popular tonight than on Tuesday. If Beal were to sit, new head coach Mike Budenholzer could elect to keep Allen off the bench, with Josh Okogie or Monte Morris getting a spot start.
The if/thens are going to be a key part of the FanDuel featured slate and dominate the decisions for the two-game late slate on DraftKings.
De’Aaron Fox should thrive in this matchup, having just missed a triple-double on Sunday in Phoenix. Domantas Sabonis also cruised to a double-double, leading the league in that category by clearing the hurdle in each of his 10 starts. Keegan Murray also had a double-double, and while this game did go into overtime, this trio had already racked up the fantasy goodness prior to the extra frame. Kevin Huerter is intriguing on the late slate with Malik Monk still out due to an injury.
Today’s Top Sports Betting Pick
In a shocking twist, last night the Trail Blazers bested the Minnesota Timberwolves 122-108 in Portland. The teams will be squaring off again tonight in Rip City.
Scoot Henderson’s under of 5.5 assists is worthy of our attention.
Using Portfolio EV to handle the heavy lifting in finding favorable bets allows us to quickly identify inefficient odds like these. By maintaining accounts at multiple sportsbooks, we can then move swiftly to secure the best odds available.
This approach effectively pits the sportsbooks against each other, revealing that BetRivers, SugarHouse and Unibet have posted -115 odds that stand above those offered by other major operators.
Odds are constantly shifting, so when you spot something favorable, jump on it. That’s the beauty and power of Portfolio EV — it helps you find the best odds at any time of day.
Stokastic’s Advanced NBA Statistical Projections have Henderson projected for 23.5 minutes and 4.85 assists. That is solidly below the six needed for this wager to fail. The “True Odds” of -108 show that there is a 3.8% expected ROI with the current +100 odds, plus a 59% win rate.
Henderson has more than six assists only once this season and two other games at five. It is important to note that Anfernee Simons is doubtful with a chest issue, and he played just five minutes last night. Henderson did come in to replace him in the first quarter, but three fouls in the first frame held him to only 3.5 minutes and he rode the pine until starting the second half.
Keep in mind that Henderson is very raw and only 20 years old. Last year he started just 32 of 62 games, and fouls, along with turnovers, could have him seeing fewer minutes than expected, even if Simons is out.
