These are the best options for Tuesday’s slate, including Immanuel Quickley, Scottie Barnes, Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren, among others.
NBA DFS Picks Today – Building Blocks: Tuesday, Feb. 11
NBA DFS Picks Today: Building Blocks
Immanuel Quickley: Raptors at 76ers
NBA DFS Projections
DraftKings: 34.57 | FanDuel: 32.68
NBA DFS Ownership Projections
DraftKings: 52.0% | FanDuel: 38.4%
DFS Salary
DraftKings: $6,100 | FanDuel: $6,600
This has been a rough season for Immanuel Quickley, who has dealt with three different injury stints. In the five games since returning from his recent malady, he has worked his way up to 30.3 minutes, with 15 field goal attempts on Sunday.
Philadelphia has struggled on defense, sliding into the bottom quartile of the league over the last 10 games, ceding 118.4 points per 100 possessions.
The Stokastic NBA DFS Projections have Quickley for 29.7 minutes, which is actually conservative, considering he averaged 31.5 minutes in the six games between his second and third injury layoff. Currently, Quickley is projected to be the most popular player on DraftKings and the second-most represented tournament target on FanDuel. Other injury news may knock him down a little, but he is still a foundational building block.
Scottie Barnes had 40-plus fantasy points in 15 of his last 17 (88%) games. During this timeframe, he averaged 19.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 3.2 combined blocks and steals. One-third of these outings resulted in 49 or more fantasy points, so there is upside for the do-everything forward. RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl remain out, which keeps Gradey Dick and Jonathan Mogbo relevant on this four-game slate. Ochai Agbaji is a viable play in all formats on the main DFS sites, though Ja’Kobe Walter looks better on FanDuel.
If Joel Embiid plays, he is unlikely to be anything other than mildly annoyed by Mogbo or Chris Boucher, and keep in mind that Kelly Olynyk is now in Oklahoma City. If Embiid is out, then Tyrese Maxey goes from a secondary option to one of the best tournament targets on Tuesday. The other 76ers are neutral plays unless Embiid is out, though they can be employed with the shallow player pool, gaining their supporters differentiation in the large-field tournaments. Paul George, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Quentin Grimes would be the next trio up if the Cameroonian superstar is not available.

Cade Cunningham: Pistons at Bulls
NBA DFS Projections
DraftKings: 52.74 | FanDuel: 49.81
NBA DFS Ownership Projections
DraftKings: 24.1% | FanDuel: 31.7%
DFS Salary
DraftKings: $10,500 | FanDuel: $10,500
This continues to be the breakout season for Cade Cunningham, who has definitely leveled up permanently. Tonight he joins Embiid as the only players with a median fantasy point projection of 50-plus fantasy points.
Through 48 games, the top selection of the 2021 NBA Draft is posting personal highs with 35.7 minutes, 21.1 field goal attempts, a 50.5% effective field goal rate, 25.5 points (12th), 6.4 rebounds, 9.5 assists (3rd), and 1.8 combined blocks and steals.
He also has 23 double-doubles and eight triple-doubles, posting 49-plus fantasy points in nine of his last 10 appearances. Jalen Duren continues to improve, matching Cunningham with 23 double-doubles. In his last 13 games, he averaged 14.6 points and 12.1 rebounds in only 27.8 minutes of action. During this period, the 21-year-old averaged nearly 1.37 fantasy points per minute, which is phenomenal. In his two games against the Bulls this season, Duren averaged 30.0 minutes and nearly 50 fantasy points. Dennis Schroder is now available, which will cut into the minutes of Malik Beasley and render Marcus Sasser nearly unplayable.
Looking at Chicago, Lonzo Ball is out but Ayo Dosunmu is back, with both plagued by whatever illness is going around the Bulls. Matas Buzelis is a fine discount dandy on the main DFS sites, while Dosunmu looks best on FanDuel. Coby White, Josh Giddey and Nikola Vucevic benefit with Zach LaVine now in Sacramento, though their salaries now reflect this trade.
Today’s Top Sports Betting Pick
The Portfolio EV does all of the heavy lifting when sorting through the available wagers at all major sports betting operators. Immanuel Quickley’s 27.5 points + rebounds + assists (PRA) prop on Hard Rock especially demonstrates this today, standing out from the rest of the industry. We can see that sharp book Pinnacle has only 25.5 PRA, but it is accompanied by a hefty -169 line. Half of the books are at 28.5 PRA while giving worse odds than Hard Rock..
The screenshot of Portfolio EV shows that this wager projects to win 53% of the time. That combined with the -105 odds on Hard Rock leads to a steady 3.2% expected value when accounting for the -112 “True Odds.”
Stokastic’s Advanced NBA Statistical Projections have Quickley projected for 29.7 minutes, 19.29 points, 3.51 rebounds and 6.01 assists for 28.81 PRA. This wager is likely to come down to the wire, though as detailed in the DFS breakdown above, there is readily attainable upside for Toronto’s lead guard.
