Bogdan Bogdanovic was injured in the opener, when he strained his hamstring, resulting in 13 missed games.
He returned in mid-November and has ramped up his minutes to a steady 25-to-27, with the team holding him out of the only back-to-back game set thus far.
Over his last five appearances, he is averaging 25.7 minutes, with 11.0 field goal attempts, including seven from behind the arc. This has worked out to 13.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 combined blocks and steals. While that may not seem particularly sexy, having shooting guard and small forward eligibility, at a discounted salary is gold!
Over the prior four seasons, Bogdanovic was successful on 39.1% of his 7.5 3-point attempts per game. This season he is down at 31.5%, if he is able to connect on four of his projected 6.9 attempts, he could easily rival D’Angelo Russell who is going to be wildly popular, with Austin Reaves ruled out again for the Los Angeles Lakers.
There is nothing holding gamers back from playing both discount dandies, which of course would easily facilitate a lineup featuring Giannis Antetokounmpo as one of the superstars. Antetokounmpo is not quite the defense eraser he was in prior seasons, but the 30-year-old is still better than most. For DFS purposes, everyone should be thrilled that he is leading the league with 32.7 points per game, plus the rest of his counting stats are similar to what he produced during his two NBA MVP seasons.
Tonight is a back-to-back, though Antetokounmpo played only 28 minutes last night, with the Bucks winning 128-107 in Detroit. Damian Lillard didn’t get the whole fourth quarter off like Giannis, but he played a reasonable 32 minutes, hitting the bench for the final six minute of the game. Lillard is locked in from long-range, having converted on 48% of his 10.0 3-point attempts over the last five games. This has given him a robust 28.8 points per game, with 4.2 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.6 combined blocks and steals.
Trae Young is leading the league in assists and over his last eight games, he is averaging 14.0 helpers, with 16. points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.7 combined blocks and steals. Six times this season, Young has handed out at least 15-plus helpers, which works out to nearly once every three games.

Mike Conley: Timberwolves at Clippers
NBA DFS Projections
DraftKings: 26.48 | FanDuel: 25.97
NBA DFS Ownership Projections
DraftKings: 27.4% | FanDuel: 44.1%
DFS Salary
DraftKings: $4,800 | FanDuel: $4,800
Mike Conley is a third discount guard option, which makes things fun tonight. For those worried about his 22 minutes on Monday, there is no need to stress. Minnesota was waxing the Lakers so thoroughly, that the Timberwolves emptied the back end of the bench, midway through the final frame.
In close games, Conley is still pushing for 30-to-32 minutes and with the T-wolves half a game out of the Play-In Tournament, plus being 3-point road favorites against the Clippers, this has the makings of a game that will get Conley an extra helping of minutes. In his last four games where the 37-year-old has cleared that mark, he is averaging 11.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.8 steals. Those steals are key, particularly on FanDuel where they are worth three fantasy points each.
Naz Reid and Nickeil Alexander-Walker are decent point per dollar options on the featured slate for DraftKings, while Julius Randle holds that distinction on the blue site. Anthony Edwards will likely be lost in the stars and scrubs shuffle, leaving him underrepresented in tournaments (sub-15%).
Today’s Top Sports Betting Pick
Franz Wagner has seen his rebounding numbers all over the place this season. That has the under on his 6.5 rebounds prop standing out as an intriguing opportunity.
Looking at the screen shot of Portfolio EV, we can see this wager is likely to come to fruition 53% of the time, and with a +104 payout, that brings a terrific 7.1% expected ROI.
BetRivers, Unibet and SugarHouse are offering the +04, which, which far exceeds the “True Odds” of -111 and the -120 of most other books.
Using Portfolio EV to crunch the numbers takes the guesswork out of finding +EV bets. This powerhouse tool pinpoints inefficient lines in a flash, making it easy to spot profitable opportunities.
Odds move fast. To stay ahead, you need accounts across multiple sportsbooks so you can pounce on the best lines the moment they pop up. That’s where Portfolio EV shines — it’s always scanning for the top odds, ensuring you’re first in line for every golden opportunity.
Stokastic’s Advanced NBA Statistical Projections have Wagner projected for 36.0 minutes and 6.61 rebounds. While that is a tick above the 6.5, there of course are no fractional rebounds and this is still below the seven needed for this wager to fail.
Wagner has corralled seven or more caroms in eight of his 23 (34.8%) games this season. He also has four or fewer rebounds in nine (39%) games. In 18 games without Paolo Banchero, Wagner is still averaging just 5.9 rebounds. Wendell Carter Jr. is back and Goga Bitadze has a chance to play tonight after being a late scratch prior to the last game with an ankle issue. That would put more rebounders on the court to compete with Wagner and since they are his teammates he may end up letting them go after some on the defensive end.
