Last night the Bucks dropped the ball, losing to the Wizards in Washington, even with Kyle Kuzma and Tyus Jones out and a cast of G-League riffraff in the rotation. Yes, Damian Lillard was out and this game was in Washington, but come on coach Glenn Rivers, do better!
Khris Middleton is out on the back-to-back, and Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is looking to play as the Bucks are back in Milwaukee as 12.5 point favorites against Memphis.
Antetokounmpo had a triple-double by the end of the third quarter and he finished with 35 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists, in 36 minutes of action. The Wizards opened the second half with a 12-1 run and were able to hold the lead the remainder of the game, on the way to their 15th victory with a 117-113 triumph. Expect similar minutes for Giannis tonight as it would behoove the Bucks to bank wins tonight and then again versus the visiting Toronto Raptors on Friday. Joel Embiid returned to action, leading the 76ers to a win over the Thunder and while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was out, so was Tyrese Maxey. There is a very real chance that Philadelphia could claw out of the Play-In Tournament and reach the six-seed, which means the second best record would be the brass ring for the Bucks to grab to avoid a first round rock fight.
Back to tonight, Bobby Portis is a phenomenal option with Middleton out and he will be the second or third offensive option when he is on the court, depending on Brook Lopez and Malik Beasley’s success at putting the biscuit in the basket. Patrick Beverley twisted his ankle and will be out tonight. Keep tabs on what news trickles out of Milwaukee as there should be a couple more value plays, depending on who is tabbed for the starting lineup. There is a chance that Damian Lillard could get an upgrade, but it seems silly to rush him back from his groin injury, when Pat Connaughton could be a secondary facilitator in a pinch, along with Beasley while Beverley is out.
Dejounte Murray: Hawks vs. Pistons
Stokastic’s Fantasy Point Projections
DraftKings: 52.07 | FanDuel: 49.93
Stokastic’s Rostership Projections
DraftKings: 19.1% | FanDuel: 16.5%
DFS Salary
DraftKings: $9,900 | FanDuel: $10,400
Dejounte Murray has led the Hawks to victory in five of the last six games. He continues to be a fantasy machine, now that he is not sharing the backcourt with Trae Young. In the 19 games since Young’s injury, Murray is averaging 37.4 minutes, 21.6 field goal attempts, 25.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 2.2 combined blocks and steals.
Onyeka Okongwu and Saddiq Bey remain out, but Jalen Johnson did return on Monday, after missing two weeks with an ankle injury. He should continue to build off his 25 minutes, though may stay in a reserve role for tonight’s action. De’Andre Hunter, Clint Capela and Bogdan Bogdanovic all have merit, with good fantasy point per dollar ratios, though Murray remains the priority.
Marcus Sasser has missed nearly a week with an illness, but he is a potential punt if he returns to the starting lineup. Jalen Duren lost a tooth on Monday, playing just five minutes. He is currently not on the injury report, so as long as he starts, he should be considered a full go. Cade Cunningham (knee) has been under an “asset management” plan in that the team is not pushing him at all in this lost season. It would not be a surprise if he sits tonight, Detroit has four games on the road, beginning tonight, then they are home for the final appearance in Detroit, before travelling to Texas for the final two games. Expect Cunningham to play at home on Apr. 11, but the other six games are likely to be hit and miss for his appearances.

Today’s Top Sports Betting Pick
Jaren Jackson Jr. is someone to target in the sports wagering market with the under on his 20.5 points prop.
Currently this wager is available at +118 on Caesars, which is a great value when comparing it against the -105 to -110 on most other books.
By using OddsShopper to do the heavy lifting when researching favorable bets, we can quickly spot inefficient lines like this one, and having accounts at multiple sportsbooks allows us to pivot to the best number quickly.
Per the true odds of +104 (how OddsShopper measures the potential expected ROI of a given wager), this opportunity has a stellar 7.0% positive expected ROI as a function of the inefficient line.
NBA Bet Pro currently has Jackson projected for 30.1 minutes, 21.08 points. This projection is right above tonight’s targeted threshold but still does not account for variable outcomes. The 49% win rate gives us a good indication that, on a long time horizon, this is exactly the type of wager we are looking for — but only at +104 odds or better.
Jackson is coming off a 40 point game, but in the game prior to that he scored four points. In his last 10 games, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year has five games below and four games above 21 points, with one of exactly 21 points.
