NBA DFS Picks & Building Blocks Today: Tuesday, April 2
NBA DFS Picks: Building Blocks
Giannis Antetokounmpo: Bucks at Wizards
Stokastic’s Fantasy Point Projections
DraftKings: 66.15 | FanDuel: 64.43
Stokastic’s Rostership Projections
DraftKings: 41.5% | FanDuel: 28.2%
DFS Salary
DraftKings: $11,500 | FanDuel: $12,100
Giannis Antetokounmpo is once again the best fantasy option, with a lofty 64-plus fantasy point projection for the main DFS sites. This is a key three-game stretch for Milwaukee, beginning with tonight’s matchup in Washington. Then the Bucks are back home for games against Memphis and Toronto. This should help the team course-correct after stumbling to a 3-3 record over the last six tilts.
Khris Middleton (knee) looks like a terrific choice — if we knew for sure he would play tonight. Of course, we will know before tipoff, but there is nothing more frustrating than elevating a player to the cover photo, only to have him not play. Looking at you, Tyrese Maxey, after being a late add to Sunday’s injury report.
If Middleton sits, then a major boost will go to Bobby Portis, who has ample upside when he gets the run and he has three games of 40-plus fantasy points in his last seven appearances. Damian Lillard remains out with a strained groin, so that should lead to another spot start for Patrick Beverley, making him the punt du jour.
Washington will be without Tyus Jones yet again, and once more Kyle Kuzma is in maintenance mode for this lost season. That makes Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert excellent plays, and it is definitely time for a Jordan Poole party! Jared Butler is a terrifying recommendation, but he does have potential coming off a 26-point fantasy performance in just 23 minutes against Miami.
Keyonte George: Jazz vs. Cavaliers
Stokastic’s Fantasy Point Projections
DraftKings: 34.56 | FanDuel: 31.72
Stokastic’s Rostership Projections
DraftKings: 18.7% | FanDuel: 54.9%
DFS Salary
DraftKings: $6,200 | FanDuel: $5,700
Keyonte George is a solid option on DraftKings, but he is a tremendous play on FanDuel, where the salary algorithm missed the boat. Jordan Clarkson, Lauri Markkanen and John Collins are done for the season, so that means elevated minutes for the youngsters.
Cleveland is resting Donovan Mitchell, while the absence of Isaac Okoro should make things a little easier on defense. Of course, the Cavs are still double-digit road favorites, even without Mitchell, so this should be a laugher by the second half.
Collin Sexton gets a “remember me” game and more importantly a path to 30 minutes, which is key. While he can play more and has been all the way at 44 and 38 in two of his last three games, the team has made an effort not to overdo it at times without much warning or indication of what the parameters are that trigger the in-game rest.
Kris Dunn, Taylor Hendricks, Brice Sensabaugh and Walker Kessler are players who can be sprinkled across tournament lineups, though there is no reason to go overboard.
Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland and Caris LeVert are above-average options with Mitchell out and the tremendous matchup. In order for the Cavaliers to win, this quartet should each see at least 30 minutes, which is enough time to return a profit on Tuesday’s salaries.

Today’s Top Sports Betting Pick
Amen Thompson is someone to target in the sports wagering market with the under on his 24.5 points + rebounds + assists (PRA) prop.
Currently this wager is available at +100 on Caesars, which is a great value when comparing it against the -120 to -140 on most other books.
By using OddsShopper to do the heavy lifting when researching favorable bets, we can quickly spot inefficient lines like this one, and having accounts at multiple sportsbooks allows us to pivot to the best number quickly.
Per the true odds of -113 (how OddsShopper measures the potential expected ROI of a given wager), this opportunity has a steady 6.3% positive expected ROI as a function of the inefficient line.
NBA Bet Pro currently has Thompson projected for 30.1 minutes, 12.34 points, 8.44 rebounds and 3.22 assists for a 24.0 PRA. This projection is right below tonight’s targeted threshold but still does not account for variable outcomes. The 53% win rate gives us a good indication that, on a long time horizon, this is exactly the type of wager we are looking for — but only at +100 odds or better.
Since moving into the starting lineup 10 games ago, the rookie has had some nice fantasy outings, but that is also driven by his blocks and steals. Looking at his PRA in this stretch, he is averaging 27.6 per game, but that has been buoyed by some serious outliers. The hope tonight is that the tight defense of Minnesota and the generally methodical pace of the Timberwolves slow things down enough that Thompson falls shy of the 25 PRA threshold.
