Now let’s do some MLB DFS lineup study and see how Stokastic data helped lonehixx reach the promised land.

FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Strategy: Stokastic Subscriber’s $100K Winning Lineup

The stack of choice for lonehixx was a 4-3-1 of Reds, Dodgers and a Gleyber Torres one-off, plus another Red on the mound in Frankie Montas. The Reds and Dodgers were both on the chalkier side thanks to high-end game environments (check out yesterday’s article where Shiloh Ward called out both of these games), but lonehixx made a couple of really nice contrarian picks in his Reds stack to get different enough. The big win was Nick Martini as the fourth in the Cincinnati collection, as Martini was lonehixx’s highest overall scorer thanks to a pair of home runs.

Then there was a home run of a pitcher in Montas, who was less than 4% owned yes put up a solid 40 fantasy points at a lower salary. The other Reds picks were solid as well, with none of them coming close to busting.

Funnily enough, the chalky Dodgers were the slightly disappointing ones. Sure Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman put up strong scores, Betts doing so with high ownership, but Shohei Ohtani ended up as lonehixx’s second-lowest scorer. Those 15.2 fantasy points, while not bad, certainly were not a slate winner.

No, it was the Reds who won this one for lonehixx, and they were as able to find this perfect combination of high-end production and low ownership thanks to Stokastic’s tools and data, plus a bit of their own intuition.
