MLB Sims: How to Use the MLB DFS Single Lineup Simulator

If you are struggling to build winning MLB DFS lineups, the Stokastic Single Lineup Simulator is here to help! Most traditional ways of building DFS lineups don’t take into account game theory strategies that are imperative to winning in DFS — simply hand-building lineups with MLB DFS projections or an doesn’t take into account aspects of DFS like correlation or ownership. It’s nearly impossible to know how well that lineup will perform against the competition without MLB DFS sims.

But now, we have a tool for the hand builders out there who want more control over their lineups but STILL want to be able to see if the lineups they are building are positive ROI. Our Single Lineup Simulator too takes every aspect of every slate into account and tells you if your lineup is a stud or a dud.

MLB DFS Sims: Strategy With The Single Lineup Simulator

Who Is the Single Lineup Simulator For?

This tool is great for:

  • Single-entry players
  • People who hand-build lineups

What Does the Single Lineup Simulator Do?

If you’ve ever built lineups by hand but had no idea how well they were projected relative to the field, this is the tool for you. A lot of the time hand builders think they may have a great lineup, but it’s actually negative ROI because they haven’t built something low-owned enough or highly projected enough.

This tool allows you to hand build lineups and then rates those lineups relative to how much ROI they have. It also simulates results of your lineup within the context of the contest and tells you:

  • Simulated ROI
  • Win Odds
  • Top-10% Odds
  • Cash Percentage

How to Use the Single Lineup Simulator

To get started, first select the league you want to participate in, such as MLB or NFL. Next, choose the site where you’ll be competing (DraftKings or FanDuel, for example). After that, select your slate, which refers to the group of contests available for that day or event. Then decide on your pool size, whether you are playing a small contest with fewer participants or a large contest with many competitors. Finally, choose your percentage to first, which ranges from 5% to 30%, to determine how much the winner will be paid out.

From there, you’ll simply hand-pick the players you want to appear in your lineup and run the simulator. It will tell you your simulated lineup ROI, win odds, odds of finishing in the top 10 and the odds your lineup will cash.

The Sims will create the parameters of a contest closely replicating the one you’re about to enter.

Features of Single Lineup Generator

The Single Lineup Generator offers several useful features to enhance your DFS game. It includes confirmed starting lineups to ensure you have the most up-to-date information on player availability. You can sort players by “affordable players,” allowing the player pool to adjust based on your remaining salary cap. The tool also provides comprehensive data on various aspects, including teams for stack building, player projections, ownership percentages, salaries and value. Additionally, the data is sortable by these criteria — teams, projections, ownership, salary and value — enabling you to tailor your lineup based on your specific needs and preferences.
