5 – Jaren Jackson Jr.
Position: PF/C | Salary: $7,800
Projections: 22.1 Points, 6.4 Rebounds, 2.7 Assists, 2.7 Stocks
I have Jackson set for 31 minutes in a pace-up spot against Houston, but if this game stays competitive, we could see even more run. With strong positional eligibility and a high ceiling, Jackson is an excellent play at $7,800.
4 – Darius Garland
Position: PG | Salary: $7,600
Projections: 22.2 Points, 2.7 Rebounds, 7..2 Assists, 1.4 Stocks
Assuming he plays, Garland is a fantastic value today. He sat out yesterday for rest, but I fully expect him to return against a short-handed Atlanta squad. He typically produces around 1.3 fantasy points per minute, but keep an eye on the Cavs’ injury report, as Donovan Mitchell or Evan Mobley could sit, making Garland an even stronger play.
3 – Jaden McDaniels
Position: SF | Salary: $5,500
Projections: 14.3 Points, 5.7 Rebounds, 1.8 Assists, 2.2 Stocks
McDaniels is a great value today, especially in this matchup against the Jazz. At just $5,500, he’s playing 35 minutes per game and filling up the stat sheet. If Naz Reid sits, McDaniels’ minutes become even more secure. He’s been thriving lately and should continue to see extended run.
2 – Paolo Banchero
Position: PF | Salary: $8,600
Projections: 24.1 Points, 7.7 Rebounds, 5.5 Assists, 1.4 Stocks
It’s time to hop on Banchero Island. At $8,600, he’s projected for 34 minutes against a weak Trail Blazers defense. This is the lowest total game on the slate, but Banchero is dominating usage for Orlando, and we might not see Jalen Suggs today (or at least we will get a limited version of him). Banchero is flying under the radar in ownership, making him an excellent tournament option.
1 – Jordan Poole
Position: PG | Salary: $6,900
Projections: 12.8 Points, 3.0 Rebounds, 5.2 Assists, 1.6 Stocks
Surprisingly, Poole is my top play today. The Wizards tend to give him more run in competitive games, and with no Anthony Davis for the Lakers, this game should stay close. Poole is a volatile play, but he’s cost-effective and should see enough volume to pay off his salary.
