What’s up, everyone — time to hit up my DraftKings NBA DFS picks for Monday, Feb. 10, using Stokastic’s NBA DFS Sims, NBA DFS projections and NBA DFS ownership projections. I’ll have updates later tonight before the Deeper Dive, so stay tuned. You only get me one more day this week — I’m here tomorrow, but I’m off Wednesday and Thursday, then we hit the All-Star break. So buckle up, and let’s make this last stretch count!
DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today, February 10
5 – Kyle Kuzma
Position: SF/PF | Salary: $5,300
Projections: 17.4 Points, 4.8 Rebounds, 2.8 Assists, 0.9 Stocks
Now, Kuzma got the start in his second game, and he was only $3,800 yesterday. They bumped that price up to $5,300 today, but it doesn’t matter — he still looks great. Kuzma is going to fill up the stat sheet, and he’s still probably underpriced given his current role. The Bucks are on a back-to-back, and with the minutes he played yesterday, Kuzma could look even better as the day progresses.
4 – Jordan Poole
Position: PG | Salary: $7,100
Projections: 22.4 Points, 3.3 Rebounds, 5.3 Assists, 1.6 Stocks
Poole is $7,100 and only point guard eligible, but with Kuzma no longer in Washington, he has even more responsibility. He plays 32-plus minutes in any competitive game, takes whatever shot he wants and has been pretty efficient this year. The downside is the Wizards get blown out a lot. But when they keep a game close, it’s usually because Poole has a big night.
3 – Stephen Curry
Position: PG | Salary: $8,700
Projections: 27.5 Points, 4.2 Rebounds, 6.1 Assists, 1.3 Stocks
First and foremost, we have to make sure Curry plays, but if he does, I love him at this price. Golden State has reworked its rotation, and Jimmy Butler is now in town. Their first game together went pretty well, and having Butler around will help Curry. It’s another guy that defenses have to respect, which should create more open looks.
On top of that, Jonathan Kuminga remains out, so the Warriors still need Curry to do a lot offensively. Assuming he plays, this price tag is just too low.
2 – Paolo Banchero
Position: PF | Salary: $8,300
Projections: 25.4 Points, 8.1 Rebounds, 5.8 Assists, 1.4 Stocks
This is a pace-up spot against Atlanta, and the Hawks are still missing key players while integrating new ones. That means their defense probably isn’t going to be great tonight. Orlando has struggled a bit lately, but this is a spot where Banchero can shine. His usage, role and salary all line up perfectly, and it feels like a matter of time before he drops 50 fantasy points.
1 – Bobby Portis
Position: PF/C | Salary: $6,300
Projections: 19.0 Points, 10.9 Rebounds, 2.9 Assists, 1.5 Stocks
Portis didn’t start yesterday, but that’s OK. Without Giannis Antetokounmpo in the lineup, Portis is still set up for a massive role. We would prefer if he started, but even if he comes off the bench, he should see around 30 minutes. Milwaukee is still rolling out Andre Jackson for 16 minutes in the starting lineup, but Portis is the guy who will smash on the second unit and likely close in competitive games. He’s already one of the most popular plays on the slate, and that’s not going to change.
