DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today, December 10
5 –Â Jalen Suggs
Position: PG | Salary: $7,300
Projections: 19.6 Points, 4.9 Rebounds, 4.4 Assists, 2.3 Stocks
Suggs stands out because Orlando is dealing with some major injuries. Franz Wagner is out with a torn oblique, Paolo Banchero is sidelined with the same issue and Gary Harris is still unavailable. When Wagner and Banchero are off the floor, Suggs gets a significant usage bump. While the matchup against Milwaukee is tough, Suggs’ role as the driving force of Orlando’s offense makes him a solid option. He’s expected to play 33 minutes, and with this being an NBA Cup game, he could see even more run if it stays competitive.
4 – Luka Doncic
Position: PG | Salary: $11,300
Projections: 28.5 Points, 8.6 Rebounds, 7.7 Assists, 2.1 Stocks
Doncic is facing Oklahoma City in a fast-paced game with a high total, which makes it far more appealing than Magic-Bucks. While Oklahoma City is a tough defensive matchup, Doncic’s offensive upside is undeniable. On smaller slates like this, he has the potential to play 40 minutes if Dallas pushes him. He’s not my favorite pay-up option today, but Doncic is a strong play thanks to his enormous ceiling.
3 – Cole Anthony
Position: PG/SG | Salary: $4,200
Projections: 12.7 Points, 4.1 Rebounds, 3.8 Assists, 1.2 Stocks
Anthony is likely the best value play on the slate. Last time out, he played 28 minutes and closed the game for Orlando. While he doesn’t always close, his usage increases significantly with Wagner and Banchero out of the lineup. Even if he doesn’t see those extra minutes, Anthony’s ability to contribute off the bench makes him an outstanding value option at this salary.
2 –Â Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Position: PG | Salary: $10,000
Projections: 31.9 Points, 5.2 Rebounds, 6.1 Assists, 2.7 Stocks
Gilgeous-Alexander edges out Doncic slightly in my rankings because of his salary. That extra $1,000 savings can make a big difference when building lineups on a slate without a ton of great value. Both Doncic and Gilgeous-Alexander are excellent options, and if you can fit two of the top-tier pay-ups into your lineup, you’ll be in a great spot.
1 –Â Giannis Antetokounmpo
Position: PF/C | Salary: $11,100
Projections: 31.3 Points, 11.7 Rebounds, 6.0 Assists, 2.1 Stocks
With Orlando’s offense missing key pieces, this matchup gets a bit easier for Antetokounmpo. He could see upwards of 37 or 38 minutes if the game stays competitive, and his flexibility across positions adds to his appeal. Antetokounmpo is arguably the best fantasy producer per minute in the league, and he’s my top ConTENder on this short slate.
