DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today, November 29
5 –Â Anthony Davis
Position: C | Salary: $10,400
Projections: 27.7 Points, 12.5 Rebounds, 3.8 Assists, 3.2 Stocks
I’m starting with Davis, and while he’s in a tough matchup against Oklahoma City, he is the best pay-up option for me with no Victor Wembanyama, Nikola Jokic or Giannis Antetokounmpo today. Davis has been dominant this season, especially when he’s matched up against smaller teams, and the Thunder’s frontcourt doesn’t intimidate me. Davis should have his way in the paint even with Isaiah Hartenstein out there.
4 – Jaylen Brown
Position: SG/SF | Salary: $8,000
Projections: 24.0 Points, 6.1 Rebounds, 4.2 Assists, 1.8 Stocks
The Bulls play fast and have one of the worst defenses in the league, so Brown should have plenty of opportunities to get to the rim. What I love about Brown today is his position flexibility — he’s eligible at shooting guard, small forward, guard, forward and utility. This gives you a ton of flexibility in your roster construction. The game has a nice total, and the Celtics will likely look to blow the Bulls out to secure a solid point differential in this NBA Cup game.
3 – Ja’Kobe Walter
Position: SG | Salary: $3,000
Projections: 8.8. Points, 4.0 Rebounds, 2.8 Assists, 1.2 Stocks
Walter is a bit of a surprise here. He started for the Raptors on Wednesday, and not many people saw that coming. He played 28 minutes and put up 14 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals. At the flat minimum, he is an excellent value play if he starts again today. Getting a starting shooting guard at $3,000 doesn’t happen very often, so if Walter is in the starting lineup again, he’s a priority value option. He’s a perfect value piece to help balance out your roster on this slate.
2 –Â Deni Avdija
Position: SF | Salary: $5,300
Projections: 13.7 Points, 7.2 Rebounds, 3.7 Assists, 1.7 Stocks
With Jerami Grant doubtful, Avdija should see extended minutes in the mid-30s. I have him projected for 32 minutes. Portland’s lineup has been in flux recently, and with Grant potentially out, Avdija is in a great spot to deliver solid production. The matchup against Sacramento is a favorable one, and he’s too cheap for the role he’s playing. If Grant is ruled out, I’m locking in Avdija at this price.
1 –Â Keon Johnson
Position: PG/SG | Salary: $3,200
Projections: 11.3 Points, 3.5 Rebounds, 2.1 Assists, 1.2 Stocks
With several injuries for Brooklyn, including Dennis Schroder and Cam Thomas already out and Nicolas Claxton, Cameron Johnson and Dorian Finney-Smith all questionable, Johnson is in line for big minutes. The matchup against Orlando isn’t great, but Johnson’s price at $3,100 is too good to pass up, especially with all the uncertainty surrounding the Nets lineup. If any of the other Brooklyn players are ruled out, Johnson’s minutes could increase, making him an even better value. Right now, he’s my No. 1 priority play.
