DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today, November 22
Myles Turner is currently just outside the top 5 and looks good, but there are better plays ahead of him right now. Some of them, though, might not stick around as the day develops. Who will be my top 5 plays of the day? Let’s break it down.
5 – Guerschon Yabusele
Position: PF/C | Salary: $3,600
Projections: 8.3 Points, 5.1 Rebounds, 1.7 Assists, 1.2 Stocks
Yabusele has been consistently playing 20-plus minutes, and I have him projected for 24 minutes tonight. What makes Yabusele particularly intriguing is that news just broke about Joel Embiid being listed as questionable. If Embiid sits, Yabusele could see even more minutes, making him an even stronger value. For now, even at 24 minutes, he’s a solid play thanks to his low salary and flexibility at power forward and center.
4 – Pascal Siakam
Position: PF | Salary: $7,200
Projections: 20.6 Points, 7.3 Rebounds, 3.8 Assists, 1.3 Stocks
Siakam is the type of guy I often like early in the day but who might slide down my rankings as value opens up elsewhere. Still, he’s likely to be under-owned in GPPs. Even if he doesn’t crack the top 5 by lock, he’s an excellent option for tournaments.
3 – Jaden Hardy
Position: PG/SG | Salary: $3,900
Projections: 12.2 Points, 2.8 Rebounds, 2.5 Assists, 0.9 Stocks
With Luka Doncic out tonight, there are a ton of minutes and usage to fill for the Dallas Mavericks. Hardy could be one of the beneficiaries, as I have him projected for 24 minutes, but he could play as many as 30 depending on how Dallas approaches the rotation.
Right now, with limited value elsewhere, Hardy stands out as a solid low-cost option. That said, this situation is fluid, and players like Spencer Dinwiddie or Quentin Grimes could also step into bigger roles. Keep an eye on the news here, but for now, Hardy is a strong consideration.
2 – Jaylen Brown
Position: SG/SF | Salary: $8,200
Projections: 25.9 Points, 6.1 Rebounds, 4.2 Assists, 1.8 Stocks
This game has some blowout risk with Boston as a 15-point favorite, but the Celtics need to maximize point differential for the NBA Cup, so I expect their starters to get full run. Brown is efficient to roster because of his positional flexibility, and I like him to thrive in a spot where Boston should dominate.
1 – Kevin Porter Jr.
Position: PG | Salary: $4,200
Projections: 13.0 Points, 3.1 Rebounds, 3.5 Assists, 1.0 Stocks
Porter is a decent per-minute producer, and with Norman Powell out, there’s potential for him to pick up additional minutes. Sacramento’s defense isn’t strong, which helps Porter’s outlook in this matchup. While he’s my top value option right now, I don’t expect him to hold this spot as the slate evolves and more value becomes available. Still, he’s a guy to watch heading into the evening.
