DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today, November 21

5 – Brandon Miller

Position: SG/SF | Salary: $6,900
Projections: 19.0 Points, 4.6 Rebounds, 5.4 Assists, 1.6 Stocks

Miller has been playing around 35 minutes a night, and he’s in a great matchup against Detroit. While Detroit is a bit better than it has been in the past, this is still a team you want to target.

He has great positional flexibility, being eligible at both shooting guard and small forward, which just makes him more valuable in lineups. Given the slate size, I really like the upside Miller brings at this price. He could easily see 36 minutes today, making him one of the best options on the board.

4 – Stephon Castle

Position: SG | Salary: $4,900
Projections: 14.8 Points, 3.5 Rebounds, 3.6 Assists, 1.3 Stocks

Castle is a guy you want to target today, especially if he’s going to continue seeing 30 minutes of play. Even though Castle isn’t the most talented offensive player right now and is struggling with his shooting, the opportunity is there. With key players like Victor Wembanyama, Jeremy Sochan and Devin Vassell out — and possibly Zach Collins too — Castle will be on the floor a lot more, which gives him more opportunities to rack up fantasy points.

His offensive game is still developing, but on a four-game slate, getting a player who could see 30 minutes at a sub-$5,00 price tag is tough to ignore. Castle is a solid, low-cost play with a ton of potential for upside based on his minutes.

3 – LaMelo Ball

Position: PG | Salary: $9,500
Projections: 27.3 Points, 4.9 Rebounds, 7.7 Assists, 1.8 Stocks

I have Ball ranked ahead of Anthony Edwards today, mainly because he has a slightly higher floor with his role in Charlotte’s offense.

Detroit isn’t a team to fear, and with the volume Ball gets, he should be a great play at $9,500. His price is definitely affordable, and I’m expecting more than enough value to pay up for him today. If Ball brings more effort on the defensive side (after being benched in a recent game), we could see an even better version of him tonight.

2 – Franz Wagner

Position: SF/PF | Salary: $9,100
Projections: 26.3 Points, 5.8 Rebounds, 5.2 Assists, 1.7 Stocks

Wagner has been playing out of his mind lately. He’s playing 36 minutes a night and doing almost everything offensively for Orlando with Paolo Banchero out. This is a different version of Wagner than what we’ve seen with Banchero on the floor, and it’s been working.

The matchup with the Lakers isn’t ideal, especially given that it’s the lowest-paced game of the slate, but Wagner’s offensive load can’t be ignored. If Rui Hachimura ends up out for the Lakers, it would further boost Wagner’s appeal, as the Lakers’ defense would likely take a hit. Given his role and the minutes he’s playing, Wagner looks like a fantastic option today.

1 – LeBron James

Position: SF/PF | Salary: $10,100
Projections: 21.6 Points, 8.3 Rebounds, 9.7 Assists, 1.8 Stocks

James is playing 36 minutes a night, and for a guy approaching 40 years old, that’s incredible. His role has increased even more since D’Angelo Russell was removed from the starting lineup, and with more ball-handling responsibilities, we’re seeing LeBron’s assist numbers rise.

While Orlando can throw some bodies at him, LeBron’s sheer talent makes him an elite play on a slate like this. The price tag isn’t an issue, and with so much value available, I’m all in on LeBron today. He’s doing everything for the Lakers right now, and that’s why he’s my top play.
