DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today, November 19
5 – Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics)
Position: SG/SF | Salary: $8,100
Projections: 25.9 Points, 6.1 Rebounds, 3.9 Assists, 1.8 Stocks
Brown finds himself in a critical matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers. With Boston needing a win to stay alive in the NBA Cup, Brown’s minutes could spike to the 40 range. His shooting guard and small forward eligibility offers great flexibility on a smaller slate, making him an attractive option in lineups. If Boston loses, its NBA Cup hopes are essentially over, so expect heavy minutes and maximum effort from Brown in this spot.
4 – Ziaire Williams (Brooklyn Nets)
Position: SG/SF | Salary: $3,900
Projections: 12.6 Points, 4.9 Rebounds, 1.6 Assists, 1.7 Stocks
Brooklyn faces Charlotte in a favorable matchup, and Williams’ price tag makes him a salary-saver you can rely on. He’s carved out a solid role in the rotation and provides positional flexibility as a shooting guard or small forward. On a slate where some high-priced stars are in play, his sub-$4,000 salary can help you fit in top-tier options.
3 – John Collins (Utah Jazz)
Position: PF/C | Salary: $6,300
Projections: 19.3 Points, 8.7 Rebounds, 2.4 Assists, 1.9 Stocks
Collins continues to thrive in an expanded role with Walker Kessler sidelined. He’s logging big minutes, and his power forward and center eligibility adds lineup versatility. The matchup against the Lakers isn’t ideal with Anthony Davis in the mix, but Collins’ workload and lack of competition for minutes keep him firmly in play. His role in Utah’s frontcourt makes him a strong option, and I expect to be overweight on him compared to the field.
2 – LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers)
Position: SF/PF | Salary: $10,000
Projections: 24.0 Points, 8.4 Rebounds, 9.8 Assists, 1.8 Stocks
James is in vintage form, playing elite basketball at nearly 40 years old. The matchup against the Jazz is excellent, with Utah’s defense being one of the league’s worst. Since the Lakers moved D’Angelo Russell to the bench, LeBron has taken on more playmaking duties, boosting his assist and usage rates. In an NBA Cup game where point differential could come into play, don’t be surprised if LeBron and the Lakers push the pace late. He’s a top-tier play with massive upside.
1 – Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets)
Position: C | Salary: $12,000
Projections: 27.4 Points, 13.9 Rebounds, 9.4 Assists, 2.5 Stocks
Jokic tops my list, but there’s a caveat — his status is uncertain due to personal reasons following the birth of his child. If he plays, Jokic will be an absolute must-have. The matchup against Memphis is strong, and Jokic’s ability to dominate in every statistical category makes him the best player on the slate. With Victor Wembanyama (out) and Luka Doncic (questionable) not yet confirmed to be playing, Jokic’s ceiling is unmatched if he plays. Keep an eye on news throughout the day to confirm his availability.
UPDATE: JOKIC HAS BEEN RULED OUT.
