DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today, December 3
5 –Â Jonas Valanciunas
Position: C | Salary: $5,200
Projections: 12.9 Points, 8.6 Rebounds, 2.2 Assists, 1.1 Stocks
Valanciunas played 31 minutes in his last game after weeks of seeing just 19 to 20 minutes per night. For today, I’ve bumped him up slightly to 22 minutes, which is still short of his last outing but enough to make him a standout value. Even in limited minutes, he’s highly productive on a per-minute basis. If his minutes creep up further, he could jump even higher in the rankings later today. At $5,200, his upside is undeniable, and he’s already drawing significant ownership.
4 – Brandon Miller
Position: SG/SF | Salary: $8,000
Projections: 24.4 Points, 5.3 Rebounds, 3.6 Assists, 1.9 Stocks
Miller is in a prime spot with 38 projected minutes against the 76ers. The matchup is solid, and with LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges out, Miller has the green light to do whatever he wants offensively. Shooting guard and small forward eligibility makes him incredibly flexible for lineup construction, and his increased role and heavy minutes give him an ideal combination of ceiling and floor at his price.
3 – Devin Booker
Position: PG/SG | Salary: $8,900
Projections: 28.3 Points, 3.8 Rebounds, 6.7 Assists, 1.5 Stocks
This pick might surprise some people. I haven’t seen much chatter about Booker today, but he’s sneaky good for larger-field tournaments. This game matters for the NBA Cup, so expect Phoenix to push for a big win. At 37 minutes, Booker has immense upside, and I suspect the field won’t roster him as heavily as it should. Don’t sleep on him.
2 –Â Scottie Barnes
Position: PG/SF | Salary: $8,300
Projections: 24.1 Points, 7.8 Rebounds, 6.4 Assists, 2.4 Stocks
Barnes is already one of the most popular plays on today’s slate, and for good reason. He has a fast-paced matchup against Indiana’s porous defense. The dual point guard and small forward eligibility is a huge plus, and Barnes’ role is rock solid with Immanuel Quickley out. Barnes is playing 34 minutes a night and checks every box for this slate. While highly owned, his upside and consistency make him a cornerstone piece.
1 –Â Vasilije Micic
Position: PG | Salary: $4,500
Projections: 12.5 Points, 3.0 Rebounds, 5.5 Assists, 1.0 Stocks
With Ball out, Micic steps into the starting point guard role and projects for 30 minutes at a bargain-bin price. He’s not a prolific scorer but contributes across the board. Micic already is one of the highest-owned plays on the slate, and unless something drastically changes, he’s the easiest value play to lock in today.
On top of that, pairing Micic with Miller could be a smart move if you’re looking for synergy between assists and scoring.
