DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today, November 18
5. Karl-Anthony Towns ($9,000)
Honestly, this one depends on his health. The Knicks are on a back-to-back, and we don’t have a confirmed injury report yet, but I have Towns projected for 34 minutes. He’s around 17% optimal, priced at $9,000 and locked into the center spot.
Towns offers serious double-double potential, projecting for 26 points, 11.5 rebounds, three assists, plus a steal and a block. The Wizards defense is nonexistent, and Towns has been dominant offensively. If he’s active, he’s a fantastic option tonight.
4. Josh Hart ($7,400)
Hart is always a strong value play, especially with the Knicks’ current rotation. I have him projected for 39 minutes, though bumping him up to 40 wouldn’t be unreasonable if injuries thin the lineup further. He’s priced at $7,400 with small forward/power forward eligibility.
Hart fills up the stat sheet, projecting for 12.5 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and nearly two stocks. He’s one of those glue guys that’s hard to fade when the minutes are there. And even in a blowout scenario, Hart’s likely to stay on the floor for 34-plus minutes. Tom Thibodeau just doesn’t care about rest, which makes Hart a fantastic DFS asset tonight.
3. Mikal Bridges ($6,600)
Bridges is another Knick logging absurd minutes. He’s been playing 40-plus minutes consistently, which is reflected in his shooting guard/small forward eligibility and $6,600 price tag.
Bridges contributes across the board. While he doesn’t offer the rebounding upside of Hart, his scoring potential and positional flexibility give him the edge. If you’re stacking Knicks or need a mid-range option, Bridges is a top-tier pick.
2. Tobias Harris ($6,300)
Harris is a solid option tonight as the Pistons take on the Bulls. I have him projected for 34 minutes, 16 points, 7.5 rebounds, three assists and two stocks. This pick is all about matchup and minutes. The Bulls are a defensive liability, trotting out below-average defenders like Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic. While I expect Harris’s appeal to drop slightly as we get more injury news, he’s still a top-10 play tonight.
1. Jared McCain ($5,800)
Priced at just $5,800 with point guard/shooting guard eligibility, McCain is a value goldmine whether Joel Embiid suits up or not. McCain is projected for 32 minutes, 20 points, four assists, three rebounds and a steal against Miami. His 3-point shooting has been electric, and with Embiid doubtful due to illness, McCain’s opportunities could skyrocket. Even if Embiid plays, McCain’s role is secure, making him the most optimal play on the slate.
