DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today, November 20
We have several teams on the second leg of a back-to-back, some significant questionable tags and lingering uncertainty around the Clippers starting lineup. These factors are going to shape the slate, so be prepared to pivot as news drops throughout the day.
5 – Giannis Antetokounmpo
Position: PF/C | Salary: $11,500
Projections: 32.5 Points, 12.6 Rebounds, 6.1 Assists, 2.2 Stocks
Starting things off, the premier pay-up option of the slate faces the Bulls tonight. There’s no Nikola Jokic, and Joel Embiid hasn’t quite been himself yet this season. Luka Doncic isn’t on this slate either, leaving Giannis as the undisputed top stud. Ownership is already projected around 50%, and with plenty of value likely to emerge, it shouldn’t be difficult to fit him into lineups.
4 – Jalen Green
Position: SG | Salary: $6,300
Projections: 20.4 Points, 4.4 Rebounds, 3.0 Assists, 1.3 Stocks
Green is listed as questionable, but if he’s good to go, he’s an excellent option against an Indiana defense that’s essentially a layup line. The Pacers interior defense is soft, and Myles Turner isn’t the rim protector he once was. Green’s explosive first step should allow him to get to the hoop with ease. If he’s ruled out, he’ll likely be replaced in this list by another Rocket — or even multiple Rockets. But if he’s in, I’m all in on Green tonight.
3 – Alperen Sengun
Position: C | Salary: $8,000
Projections: 19.7 Points, 10.6 Rebounds, 4.6 Assists, 2.2 Stocks
Sengun’s minutes have been trending up, with 30-plus minutes in five of his last six games. Houston has a lot of flexibility in their rotations, but it looks like it is starting to lean on Sengun more. If Green is out, Sengun will become an even stronger play, as his assist rate and usage will likely rise. Either way, he’s a great option against Indiana tonight.
2 – Robert Williams
Position: PF/C | Salary: $4,400
Projections: 9.6 Points, 7.5 Rebounds, 1.5 Assists, 2.6 Stocks
With Deandre Ayton doubtful, I’m expecting a minutes split between Williams and Donovan Clingan. Williams has power forward and center eligibility at just $4,400, making him an incredible value.
The matchup against Oklahoma City is fantastic, as it lacks size in the frontcourt. Williams averages over a fantasy point per minute, and his eligibility at power forward makes him even more appealing. There’s a chance his minutes will exceed the 24 I’ve projected, but even if they don’t, he’s one of the best plays on the slate.
1 – Kevin Porter Jr.
Position: PG | Salary: $4,200
Projections: 13.4 Points, 3.4 Rebounds, 3.8 Assists, 1.1 Stocks
With Norman Powell out, I’m speculating that Porter could step into Powell’s role in the starting lineup. Even if he doesn’t, I have him projected for enough production to make him the best value on the slate.
If Porter does start, you can bump his minutes projection up to 26 to 28, making him an even stronger play. The Clippers need someone to fill Powell’s offensive void, and while Porter isn’t the most efficient scorer, he’s never shy about taking shots. His ownership is already climbing, and for good reason. Keep an eye on the news, but for now, Porter is the top play.
