DraftKings NBA DFS Value Picks Today, April 3
5 – Jonathan Mogbo
Position: PF/C | Salary: $4,000
Projections: 8.9 Points, 6.3 Rebounds, 2.4 Assists, 1.8 Stocks
We’re starting things off in Toronto, where Mogbo stands out as a solid value option. Toronto is missing Jakob Poeltl and Immanuel Quickley, and it could also be without Scottie Barnes. That makes Mogbo even more appealing. My guess is that he won’t stay in the top 5 all day — better value will likely emerge — but he’s still a strong play, landing in around 15% to 20% of lineups.
4 – Kyle Anderson
Position: PF | Salary: $3,600
Projections: 8.1 Points, 4.4 Rebounds, 4.0 Assists, 1.7 Stocks
Anderson gets a revenge game against Memphis. The Heat have kept Anderson in the rotation, playing him between 18 and 24 minutes over the past few games. If he gets closer to 24 minutes tonight, he’s an excellent value. Even at the lower end, he can still pay off this price tag. The biggest concern is Miami shaking up its rotation, but it has been consistent for the past two weeks, so he’s in a good spot.
3 – Jamal Shead
Position: PG | Salary: $4,500
Projections: 11.5 Points, 2.5 Rebounds, 6.4 Assists, 1.2 Stocks
Back to Toronto, Shead benefits from the Raptors’ depleted backcourt. With Quickley out and Barnes potentially sitting, Shedd is expected to start and play 27 to 28 minutes. Toronto has been dealing with injuries for a while now, and whenever that happens, guys like Shedd end up a few hundred dollars underpriced, making them great DFS values. He’s landing in the optimal lineup 37% of the time.
2 – Lonnie Walker IV
Position: SG/SF | Salary: $4,700
Projections: 14.4 Points, 4.4 Rebounds, 2.9 Assists, 1.3 Stocks
Walker logged 30-plus minutes in two straight games after returning from a concussion, and his price tag hasn’t caught up yet. The 76ers have been leaving one or two players inactive each game, and with Colin Castleton joining on a 10-day contract, Walker’s role remains safe. Expect 28 minutes with upside for 32 to 34 minutes, making him one of the best plays on the slate.
1 – Giannis Antetokounmpo
Position: PF/C | Salary: $12,100
Projections: 34.6 Points, 12.4 Rebounds, 7.2 Assists, 1.9 Stocks
No surprises here — Giannis is the top play of the day. Even with Luka Doncic and LeBron James on the slate, Giannis is the best pay-up option, especially with Damian Lillard and Bobby Portis out for Milwaukee.
In a matchup against Philadelphia, there’s nobody on the 76ers who can guard Giannis. I know Giannis has let people down lately, and some might hesitate to roster him. I don’t care. He’s still one of the best per-minute fantasy performers in the league, and with Milwaukee missing key players, this game is all about him. He’s a must-play, and there’s plenty of value available to fit him in your lineup.
