DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today, March 27
5 – Paolo Banchero
Position: PF | Salary: $9,900
Projections: 28.8 Points, 8.4 Rebounds, 5.2 Assists, 1.7 Stocks
Banchero tops the high-priced options today, taking on a Dallas team dealing with multiple questionable players, including Anthony Davis. Banchero is logging 35 to 36 minutes per game and producing across the board. His 50-point fantasy projection makes him a strong play, and if Davis sits, this matchup gets even juicier. Banchero reaches the 60-fantasy-point mark 33% of the time, giving him serious upside.
4 – Tyler Herro
Position: PG | Salary: $8,200
Projections: 25.7 Points, 5.6 Rebounds, 6.1 Assists, 1.3 Stocks
Herro projects as an excellent play against Atlanta. He’s logging heavy minutes (36 per game), and the Hawks play at a fast pace and offer below-average defense, making this an ideal fantasy spot. Herro’s role as the primary scorer and playmaker is further strengthened by a weak supporting cast, ensuring plenty of shot volume. At his price, a 51-fantasy-point performance would be ideal, and he reaches that threshold 37% of the time.
3 – Bam Adebayo
Position: PF/C | Salary: $8,300
Projections: 20.0 Points, 10.6 Rebounds, 5.0 Assists, 2.1 Stocks
The second Miami Heat player to crack the top 5 today, Adebayo benefits from an elite matchup against the Hawks. His power forward eligibility is a major plus, giving DFS players roster flexibility. He also provides defensive upside. At this price, you’re looking for around 52 fantasy points, a mark he hits 38% of the time. With Alec Burks and Duncan Robinson both questionable, Adebayo’s role could become even stronger depending on Miami’s available personnel.
2 – De’Andre Hunter
Position: SF/PF | Salary: $4,800
Projections: 18.2 Points, 4.5 Rebounds, 1.8 Assists, 0.9 Stocks
With Evan Mobley already ruled out and Ty Jerome questionable, Hunter is poised to step into a starting role for Cleveland. He’s projected for 28 minutes, though that number could shift slightly, and faces a San Antonio team that remains one of the worst in the league. Without Victor Wembanyama, the Spurs defense takes a big hit, making this an even more favorable spot. Hunter’s fantasy point projection at this price tag offer strong value, especially if additional minutes come his way.
1 – Colby Jones
Position: SG/SF | Salary: $3,200
Projections: 7.9 Points, 5.2 Rebounds, 2.2 Assists, 2.1 Stocks
We’re still waiting on a lot of injury news, but as things stand, Jones is the top value play on the board. The Wizards are on a back-to-back, and we don’t yet know the status of Khris Middleton, Marcus Smart or if Washington will rest additional players. Jones has been playing at least 24 minutes a night when the Wizards are missing bodies, making him a viable cheap play. His fantasy production sits in the 0.82- to 0.85-fantasy points-per-minute range, which, combined with a great matchup against Indiana, makes him an optimal value choice. Keep an eye on news, as additional injuries could solidify his spot or push him down as new value emerges.
