We’re deep into April now, which means the regular season is winding down and chaos is cranking up. Teams are sitting starters, rotations are getting weird and value is absolutely everywhere. That kind of volatility makes today’s slate extra fun — and that much more profitable if you’re dialed in. So let’s not waste any time and break down today’s DraftKings NBA DFS picks with help from Stokastic’s NBA DFS Sims, NBA DFS projections and NBA DFS ownership projections to find the best picks. DraftKings NBA DFS Value Picks Today, April 10
5 – Karl-Anthony Towns
Position: C | Salary: $9,700
Projections: 24.9 Points, 13.8 Rebounds, 2.7 Assists, 1.7 Stocks
First off, it’s a five-game slate — that already gives Towns a natural bump. But more importantly, the Knicks are missing key players: No O.G. Anunoby, no Mitchell Robinson and no Josh Hart. That means more usage and more minutes to go around. Towns projects for 51 DraftKings points with a target score of 59. He’s showing up in the optimal lineup 47% of the time. Even at $9,700, there’s more than enough value across the slate to comfortably get up to him. And with so many pieces missing, he should see more touches and potentially a bigger workload than usual.
4 – Giannis Antetokounmpo
Position: PF/C | Salary: $12,700
Projections: 34.1 Points, 11.5 Rebounds, 7.7 Assists, 2.1 Stocks
If you’re looking to go even higher in price, Giannis is the clear top dog today. He’s projected for 13 more fantasy points than any other player on the slate, which makes him a standout in all formats — especially cash games. We have him at 64 fantasy points. His goal is 74, but on a slate like this, you could get by with a little less. Even so, Giannis hits the optimal lineup in 68% of Sims. With so much value floating around, there’s no reason not to make room for him — especially with Milwaukee still caring about playoff seeding. Expect a full-strength Giannis game against the Pelicans.
3 – De’Andre Hunter
Position: SF/PF | Salary: $4,300
Projections: 20.5 Points, 4.1 Rebounds, 2.1 Assists, 1.1 Stocks
Let’s talk value, starting with Hunter. The Cavaliers are resting everyone: No Darius Garland, no Donovan Mitchell, no Max Strus, no Evan Mobley. That opens the door for Hunter to take on a much bigger role.
I have him projected for 29 minutes and 31.5 DraftKings points on a $4,300 price tag. That hits the target of 32 and makes him 75% optimal. Even if you’re conservative and drop his minutes projection down to 25, he’s still a top-10 play. With the Cavaliers sitting four starters, Hunter is in a totally different spot today, and you’re going to want a lot of him in your builds.
2 – Ty Jerome
Position: PF | Salary: $4,700
Projections: 19.0 Points, 3.1 Rebounds, 5.1 Assists, 1.6 Stocks
Another Cleveland value piece, Jerome checks in as today’s second-best play. With the starters all out, Jerome’s stepping into a huge opportunity. He’s projected for 27.5 minutes and 34 DraftKings points, which matches his target score. That puts him in the optimal lineup 78% of the time. Honestly, even if he plays just 24 minutes, Jerome is still 50% optimal in simulations. The Cavaliers have 120 minutes of starter production missing today — those minutes have to go somewhere. Jerome’s role is too good to ignore, and he’s going to be in a ton of my lineups.
1 – Precious Achiuwa
Position: PF/C | Salary: $3,300
Projections: 9.6 Points, 9.4 Rebounds, 1.6 Assists, 2.4 Stocks
The top spot today goes to Achiuwa, who looks like a slam-dunk value. With no Hart, no Anunoby, and no Robinson, I expect Achiuwa to start at the four — maybe even log north of 30 minutes. He’s projected for 28 fantasy points with a goal of just 27. That makes him 78% optimal, matching Jerome for the highest rate on the slate. Unless something crazy changes before lock, he’s going to be a priority across all formats.
