DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today, March 28
5 – Kevin Porter Jr.
Position: PG | Salary: $4,900
Projections: 12.7 Points, 5.1 Rebounds, 5.0 Assists, 1.8 Stocks
The Bucks take on the Knicks tonight, and with no Damian Lillard and no Bobby Portis, there’s plenty of usage to go around. Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable, and his status could swing this entire slate. Regardless, we like Kevin Porter Jr. at his $4,900 price tag. He’s projected for 28 minutes and projects to put up a solid stat line adding up to 29.5 fantasy points. If Giannis sits, Porter’s role expands even further, making him a strong value play.
4 – K.J. Simpson
Position: PG | Salary: $4,000
Projections: 11.9 Points, 3.6 Rebounds, 4.7 Assists, 1.2 Stocks
With LaMelo Ball out, Simpson finds himself in a great position against a depleted Toronto Raptors squad. The last time Ball missed a game, Simpson logged 33 minutes, so I have him penciled in for 31 tonight. The target score for value is 30 fantasy points, and he clears that mark 36% of the time. He’s optimal in 42% of Sims, making him one of the best value plays on the board.
3 – Jose Alvarado
Position: PG | Salary: $5,100
Projections: 13.3 Points, 3.0 Rebounds, 6.3 Assists, 2.0 Stocks
With Zion Williamson and C.J. McCollum out, Alvarado steps up for the Pelicans against the Warriors. He’s aiming for 36 fantasy points to hit value, and he gets there 39% of the time. If Stephen Curry plays, expect Alvarado to spend his minutes being a defensive pest. Either way, he’s optimal in 43% of Sims and looks like a solid mid-range play.
2 – Nikola Jokic
Position: C | Salary: $12,300
Projections: 30.5 Points, 12.6 Rebounds, 9.7 Assists, 2.5 Stocks
No surprise here — Jokic is an elite play against the Utah Jazz. At $12,300, he’s projected for a massive 67 fantasy points, and he has a real shot at clearing the 72-point target. If Jamal Murray sits, Jokic’s role will expand even further. With plenty of value available in the $3,000-$4,000 range, raw points matter today, and few do it better than Jokic.
1 – Giannis Antetokounmpo
Position: PF/C | Salary: $11,500
Projections: 34.4 Points, 13.0 Rebounds, 7.2 Assists, 2.2 Stocks
Giannis is the top play on the slate if he plays. With Lillard out, the offense will run entirely through him. He’s projected for 66 fantasy points with a target of 68. If he’s in, he’s the best option on the board. If he’s out, everything will shift and Jokic will be the clear-cut top spend-up option.
