Quarterback | College Football DFS Picks for Week 7

Riley Leonard ($8,000) — Notre Dame comes off their bye as a 23 point home favorite over Stanford in a game with a 45.5 total. There is no doubt, Leonard has struggled as a passer this year. He currently averages 150 yards per game. However, Stanford’s defense allows a putrid 8.6 yards per pass attempt. Even if that doesn’t work, Leonard still has elite rushing production. He somehow leads the team with 374 rushing yards and has seen at least 11 designed attempts in three straight games.

Cade Klubnik ($9,000) — Clemson enters Week 7 as a 20.5 point favorite over Wake Forest in a game with a 62 total. Klubnik has shown a surprising ceiling in 2024 that involves rushing. He already has 168 cumulative yards on the ground, while averaging 244.6 through the air. Wake Forest plays atrocious defense, across the board, allowing 8.5 yards per pass and 4.9 yards per carry.

Tyler Shough ($7,700) — Continually underpriced, Shough quarterbacks an efficient Louisville offense that constantly finds itself in shootouts due to a poor pass defense. In this game, Louisville is a touchdown favorite on the road against an equally porous Virginia secondary in a game with a 54 total. Shough provides decent mobility and already averages 289 yards per game through the air. He also has elite stacking options at all price points, including Ja’Corey Brooks and Caullin Lacy.

Haynes King ($8,100) — A 3.5 point favorite over North Carolina in a game with a 60 total, this matchup screams shootout. North Carolina’s defense already allows 8.9 yards per pass, setting up and elite matchup for King. The veteran quarterback has solid dual threat ability with 246 rushing yards this year. He also averages an efficient 238.5 passing yards on just 28.3 attempts.

Running Back | College Football DFS Picks for Week 7

Phil Mafah ($6,500) — The victim of in-game injury and blowouts, Mafah only averages 15.2 touches per game this year. Still, that equates to 99.2 rushing and 3.4 receiving yards per game. Mafah also showed his ceiling in Clemson’s most recent game, carrying 25 times and seeing one target in the pass game. He still possesses an elite 51% route rate, so more targets could come in pass friendlier game scripts. He is the best running back play on the board by a wide margin.

Kobe Pace ($4,300) — Historically a tough name to click, Pace has actually worked himself into a solid workload for Virginia. He is fresh off a 19 carry, two target game last time out. This puts his touch average to 15 per game. With a solid pass game role, he can be used to free salary on this slate.

Jeremiyah Love ($6,100) — Like Leonard, Love also benefits from a cupcake matchup against Stanford’s weak defense. While Love doesn’t have the desired volume at 13.8 touches per game, he still averages 74.6 rushing and 13.4 receiving yards per game. With the potential for elevated efficiency, he makes for an interesting GPP play here.

Corey Kiner ($5,700) — Kiner suffered an in-game injury last time out, but he has now used to bye week to heal up. Reportedly ready to go, Kiner touched the ball at least 17 times in three straight games before the injury. Cincinnati comes in as a 3.5 point underdog here, but the backfield may also be thinned out due to injuries to Evan Pryor and Chance Williams. Kiner could be in line for a sneaky workload here.

Wide Receiver | College Football DFS Picks for Week 7

Darius Lassiter ($4,200) Fresh off a 13 target game, Lassiter looks like one of the most mis-priced receivers on the slate. After missing Week 1, Lassiter has jumped into a full route share, averaging 7.8 targets per game. BYU will play this game with Kody Epps further decreasing the competition for Lassiter in this game.

Malik Rutherford ($5,300) — For those looking to stack with King, Rutherford and Eric Singleton Jr. both provide strong options. Rutherford has a 26.6% target share while Singleton has a 23.1% share. This could be even wider in favor of Singleton, but he missed a large portion of one game with an in-game injury. With 79 yards per game, he is an easy click at this price.

Tetairoa McMillan ($8,500) — One of a few pure alpha receivers on this slate, McMillan has been virtually unstoppable this year. He boasts a 36.4% target share, which he has turned into 11.8 targets an 132.2 receiving yards per game. While the matchup remains tough, he is one of the truly matchup-proof receivers in the country.

Matthew Golden ($4,400) — Texas enters their first competitive game of the year as a touchdown favorite over Oklahoma in a game with a 48.5 total. More of a feel play, the Texas wide receivers could be in line for a volume spike. Currently, Golden has only participated in 65.5% of the routes, due to Texas’ weak schedule. In a more competitive game, target shares could condense across the board. Golden did register an 80% route participation in their last game.
