Tyrese Haliburton | NBA Underdog Fantasy Pick Today

On Friday, I pointed out that the strategy of focusing on Pascal Siakam’s lower on his scoring and Tyrese Haliburton points higher seemed logical given Milwaukee’s defensive approach. Despite the Bucks’ efforts to limit Siakam’s impact, the Pacers managed to win both games.

I anticipate Siakam will rebound from his subdued performances in Games 3 and 4. However, it’s crucial for Haliburton to stay involved in the offense. In the first two games of the series, Siakam had a 32% usage rate compared to Haliburton’s 14%. But in the last two games, these figures have reversed, with Haliburton leading at 27% and Siakam at 19%.

Haliburton has also been aggressively attempting 3-point shots, launching 12 in back-to-back games. If he starts connecting, this play is going way higher.

Joel Embiid | NBA Underdog Fantasy Pick Today

It’s difficult to admit, but Joel Embiid seems to lack a clutch factor when it counts in the postseason. Remarkably, in all nine career elimination games he’s played, he’s fallen short of 48.5 points + rebounds + assists. What’s particularly concerning is that, despite the 76ers team around him evolving, Embiid is averaging just 35 points + rebounds + and assists in nearly 40 minutes per game in these crucial moments.

Compounding matters, he’s also battling injuries but still managed to log an exhausting 44 minutes in Game 4. These statistics paint a worrying picture for the 76ers star.
