NBA Daily Fantasy Picks Today No. 1 – Giannis Antetokounmpo
- DFS Salary: DraftKings: $11,900/FanDuel: $12,500
- Stokastic’s Point Projections: DraftKings: 63.6/FanDuel: 62.6
- Stokastic’s Ownership Projections: DraftKings: 4.1%/FanDuel: 4.6%
Antetokounmpo once again has an excellent matchup against the Pacers. It feels like he faces them every game. Indiana has played at the second-fastest pace this season while allowing the most points per 100 possessions. Antetokounmpo’s salary has increased, however, so he is more difficult to roster tonight than he was in this same spot a couple of days ago. There is no question that his ceiling can exceed the price tag, as he has averaged 2.0 DraftKings points per minute in 37.8 minutes per game in his four meetings with Indiana this season. He has yet to score less than 30 real points in the matchup and is averaging 46.3 points, 13.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.

- Stokastic’s Ownership Projections: DraftKings: 16.2%/FanDuel: 4.3%
Doncic is the most popular pay-up option on DraftKings, as he is available at a substantial discount to FanDuel. His per-minute production and playing time both take a hit with Kyrie Irving active, but DraftKings quickly lowered his price to account for that. Doncic has produced 1.67 DraftKings points per minute in 34.9 minutes per game in the 17 games that he has played alongside Irving this year. The Trail Blazers only rank 19th in pace this season, but they are 22nd in adjusted defensive rating.

- Stokastic’s Ownership Projections: DraftKings: 14.0%/FanDuel: 3.5%
Haliburton is $1,000 more expensive on FanDuel than he is on DraftKings, making him a high-upside contrarian play on FanDuel and a bit more of a priority on DraftKings. He has averaged 1.57 DraftKings points per minute in 34.3 minutes per game this season. He has produced similar numbers in his four meetings with Milwaukee, with 1.52 DraftKings points per minute in 35.5 minutes per game.

- Stokastic’s Ownership Projections: DraftKings: 32.8%/FanDuel: 20.9%
Mitchell is a bit less expensive than I typically include in this article, but he stands out as a clear top option tonight. He is the seventh-most expensive player on DraftKings and the fifth most expensive player on FanDuel tonight. He has the fifth highest projection on both sites, however, in an excellent matchup against Washington. The Wizards have played at the fastest pace in the NBA this season, and they have allowed the second-most points per 100 possessions. In eight games without Darius Garland, Mitchell has produced 1.41 DraftKings points per minute in 38 minutes per game. He has a 31.9% usage rate and 29.7% assist rate in those games.
