About Our Top Fighters Tool for UFC DFS Stacks

When making decisions about what fighters to put in your UFC lineups you should consider more than just UFC DFS projections and UFC DFS ownership. You should consider upside as well as how highly owned they will be. In the top fighters tool we do just that! We run thousands of simulations on every fight card. For that card we tell you how often a fighter ends up as a top 6 fighter and scores over 100 points. 100 points has typically been a score that is high enough to be in the winning lineups for most contests. You can compare those probabilities to their ownership to get a good approximation if the public likes the fighter as well as our simulations. If a fighter's ownership is below these metrics then they are probably a good play and you can gain an advantage on the field when they perform well and vice versa.

How To Use Our MMA & UFC DFS Top Fighter Tool

Fight projections are the combined projection of both fighters in a match. The Average Length is the minutes it takes to finish fight on average. Pace is the average fantasy points per minute scored for both fighters combined, not including the points awarded for wins. Top 6% is the probability of being one of the six highest scoring players. 2-6% is the probability of being the 2nd-6th highest scoring player. Finally, >100 fpts% is the probability of the fighter scoring more than 100 points.

Alex is better known to fantasy players by his handle "Awesemo" from seeing him in every big tournament in the industry. Playing poker professionally from 2009-2015, he heard that daily fantasy was the next big game picking up steam, and he quickly saw the potential of the relatively new game. Growing his bankroll from 2015-2016, he made a big step in 2017 by claiming the #1 overall ranking on RotoGrinders for the year. After completing his primary objective, he was looking for what's next. Attending dozens of fantasy events, Alex realized that everyone was repeating the same story: wanting to be a great DFS player while holding down a full-time job. He realized that the resources available to fantasy players while great weren't enough to help hobbyists get to the level of competing with the top pros. Having met Tom Kennedy during the FanDuel Scottish Open, the two decided to take on the realm of fantasy content along with co-founder Eddie Lai. Alex creates his own projections for each sport he plays, publishing rankings derived directly from them updated for each major slate. He also writes strategy content for how to become a better DFS player in his Game Plan series. You can contact Alex by emailing [email protected].
